We are excited to announce a new program!
Over the last year we have worked to set up a new committee to continue our mission to support Law Enforcement across this state. One of the things we have heard consistently from smaller agencies is their struggle to research and find grants that are available and then to have the time/money to write the grant application. Most larger offices have a grant writer on staff to assist with this but the smaller agencies cannot afford this. So we have heard you and we have taken classes and purchased grant writing software to be able to assist you.
The Mason Moore Foundation grant committee will be available to assist Montana law enforcement agencies identify and apply for grants from other grantors. Agencies seeking assistance should send an email to MasonMooreFoundation@gmail.com. Our volunteers will work with you to match your agency with grant opportunities and assist you in preparing your grant proposals. Grant administration and reporting of awarded grants will be the responsibility of your department.
Meet our grant committee:
Callie Hamilton is a fund raising professional and has over 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. As a member of the Manhattan Town Council and the wife of an officer, she understands the unique needs of small departments.
Jessica Crusch has worked with non-profit organizations and helped in fundraising for almost 10 years. She has a passion to see smaller departments and entities receive the funding they need to do an effective job.
Brandon Harris, Undersheriff Broadwater County Sheriff's Office and Mason Moore Foundation Law Enforcement Advisor, has experience with researching and writing Law Enforcement Grants.
